Here it is, the middle of May, and spring just hasn't quite sprung yet. We've had a few nice days in southeast Michigan but it doesn't feel much like flowers and birds and bees just yet. Despite that, I stayed ahead of the curve by shooting a couple of spring looks with Regan.
Unfortunately Regan's off in New York City for the summer now, but the small amount of work we've done together is still making a few waves. One of our shots was featured on Rent the Runway's Instagram! With over 100k followers on Instagram and nearly 400k on Facebook, this might be some of my most widely circulated work yet. Pretty cool stuff.
This look was from Cynthia Vincent and is a really classy but simple way to look good and stay cool. The vibrant blue will stand out without overpowering the rest of the outfit, though I find it pairs best with brown leather or white!
The second look we shot was a nod to lots of classics. Denim, leather, a white tee, a black skirt. I like how they come together in color, contrast, and texture. We shot in the amazing light of the North Quad courtyard. It's a nice little hideaway you might not know about unless you've lived there!
Looking forward to working with Regan again when she returns, and hopefully in NYC a time or two if I can make it out there. Good things to come — hopefully including the spring and summer seasons!
